PLAYING WITH FIRE is a US comedy drama in which a crew of smoke-jumping fire-fighters are forced to care for three rescued children.

Threat and horror

A girl is trapped in a lorry, which balances precariously at the top of a cliff. Firemen rescue three young siblings from a burning house.

Rude humour

Lavatorial humour includes a gross-out scene in which it is implied that a child defecates copiously into a fireman's suit.

Dangerous behaviour

A child fires flare guns, thinking them to be toys. A little girl fires a nail gun at firemen. A boy spills industrial cleaner, filling a room with foam. In the company of a fireman, the boy negotiates flames in a fire training chamber.

There is use of very mild bad language ('God'). The death of parents, and subsequent foster care, are themes of the film.
