FERDINAND is an animated comedy in which a powerful bull with a gentle nature attempts to avoid his fate in the bullring.

Threat

A crowd scatters in panic when a bull is stung by a bee and runs wildly through a town festival.

Workers at the ranch run from bulls and use shields as the animals come after them during a test of strength. The bulls are away that if they are not chosen to take part in bullfights they will be sent to the abattoir. In one scene, two bulls launch a rescue mission to save one of their friends who is in the abattoir and have a narrow escape when the machinery is activated accidentally.

A bull enters a bullring where a matador prepares for the contest, but the bull refuses to fight and the scene plays out as a slapstick chase around the ring. The threat in this and other scenes are generally played for funny effect with reassuring outcomes..

Language

There is very mild bad language.

There is very mild rude humour as a goat throws up various objects it has eaten.
